FALL 2020 UPDATE
LOS ANGELES: In the midst of unfortunate circumstances, all of us at Trojans FC have been steadfast in finding opportunities to contribute to the growth of the club and prepare for a return to the pitch, whenever that may be. Even though our life force, football, is currently unavailable due to the ongoing pandemic, a lot of work is yet to be done in order to ensure a seamless transition back into playing.
“Obviously it’s disappointing that we can’t compete in the league and a lot of the guys aren’t in L.A. right now, but we just have to find ways to stay connected and get ready to hit the ground running whenever life gets back to being relatively normal. It’s sad but it is what it is, and we know our best days are ahead of us” said head coach, Sanjay Sujanthakumar.
Over the next few months, our goal remains the same. We hope to expand the reach that our club has and plan on building the club image through various methods outside of the game. Currently, we plan on working with our seniors on different forms of content and outreach. Given that they have been integral to our success over the past few years, we sincerely hope that they can get on the pitch at least one more time. Until then, we plan on continuing our remote work to build off of our success over the past few years.
With all of that said, we hope everyone is remaining safe and healthy in these trying times. Additionally, we want to push for everyone to make their voices heard by voting in the upcoming election.
Best,
Trojans FC
