



President, Pantelis Paliouras
Pantelis is a sophomore from Bergen County, New Jersey who travelled to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Business Administration and avoid interacting with snow for 4 years. He is a Presidential Scholar also minoring in Applied Analytics, and hopes to use his education one day to become the head of analytics of the MLS. Besides being an avid fan of soccer, Pantelis enjoys discovering new music, telling stories, and listening to stand up comedy - especially Trevor Noah.
Co-Director of Soccer Operations, Luis Ortiz
Luis Ortiz is a sophomore from the blistering desert that is Tucson, Arizona. He has been playing soccer since he was 3 but his immense intellect and curiosity brought him to USC on a Presidential Scholarship. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Cinematic Arts. One day he may use his education to pioneer a new technical innovation that changes the landscape of film, you’ll have to wait and see.
Head coach/Co-Director of Soccer Operations, Sanjay Sujanthakumar
Sanjay is a junior and an International Relations and the Global Economy major. He grew up in Westfield, New Jersey playing club soccer for the Westfield Soccer Association and FC Premier, and for Westfield High School until his career was cut short by concussions. He then transitioned into coaching, working for European Football Coaching, the Westfield Soccer Association, FC Premier and the Wardlaw-Hartridge School. Sanjay aspires to be the President of FIFA. He honestly doesn’t really have interests outside of soccer.
Assistant Coach/Associate of Soccer Operations, Tom Muhl
Tom Muhl is a sophomore film major from Los Angeles. He follows soccer globally and locally, acting as the Vice President for USC’s LAFC supporters group “Wings of Troy.” Previously, Tom got involved with coaching when he coached a local Under 7s side in high school. Tom has added coaching to his busy college schedule to develop his knowledge of the game on the other side of the ball. Beyond his assistant coach role, Tom is producing a web-series following Trojans FC to increase the clubs visibility as well as provide opportunities for film students to work on projects during the school year.

Associate of SOccer Operations, James Lu
James is a junior from Shenzhen, China, with a major in Economics and minor in Sports Media Studies. He took his soccer career to Europe after high school, where he played for Fundacion Marcet in Spain and Paris Alesia in France, before joining USC. James currently plays for the USC Chinese Soccer Team as a starting CB, and he is looking to pursue a career in Sports Law in the near future. His interests consist solely of his heavily modified Toyota 86. Do not attempt to race him.
Director of Social Media and marketing, Maya Cheung
Maya Cheung is a second year student from Boston, Massachusetts. She is a Presidential Scholar majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Digital Entrepreneurship. She aspires to become the Head of Social Media Marketing of a startup corporation which one day joins the esteemed Fortune 500. She enjoys trying new food, listening to live music, and exploring the great outdoors. Maya currently produces content for the blog, and all team photography.
