Away Game vs. Karwan FC

This past Sunday, March 4th, 2018, The SC Trojans FC team played Karwan FC in Garden Grove, CA at the Westgrove Park. On Sunday morning, the team arrived at the field about an hour before the game to warm up, discuss their line-up, and strategize for the game. Also, we’re excited to announce that this was the team’s first live-streamed game, which is available now on the Trojans FC Facebook page.

At exactly 11a.m., both teams took their positions on the field and the game began. The  Trojans FC definitely brought the heat as they scored a goal within the first ten minutes of the first half. Following this the Trojans maintained strong defense as they still didn’t let Karwan FC get in a single goal for the rest of that half.

Come halftime and the score was 1-0, Trojans. During halftime the Trojans rested on the bench while getting water. They received pointers from their coach and comments from each other, critiquing their teammates plays and providing uplifting encouragement. Going into the second half they were clearly energized and focused.

In the second half, the Trojans scored 3 more points, ending the game with a 4-0 victory! Goals were scored by Jonathan Montesdeoca (team president), Alec Harsh, Manny Munir, and AbdulMalik Salim Al-Jarboa. Evidently, the whole team brought their A-game this past Sunday and left the field victorious.
